Follow your clinician’s advice

• Use compression garments and supports only as directed by your doctor or surgeon, including how long and how many hours a day to wear them.
• An air walker boot can replace a plaster cast only when your treating doctor recommends it.
• Do not wear a product over an open wound unless your clinician advises it.

Stop using a product and seek advice if

• you feel increasing pain, numbness, tingling or coldness;
• your skin becomes red, blistered or irritated;
• swelling gets worse, or the product feels too tight.
